WebOct 21, 2015 · Review of High Rock Trail Reviewed October 21, 2015 This hike is a diamond in the rough. It is 1.6 miles with an 1600 ft elevation gain, but what a view on a clear day. You can only see Rainier to the north but many peaks to the south and Cora lake below. We hiked this with a couple who were 80 year old. WebIt was a great sunrise hike. Arrived at the trail head at 4:31am. I think it was perfect timing to catch the sun rise behind rainier. There was a porta-potty up by the trail head and it was quite clean.
